Siren

Iridescently, the moonlight creeps in;
caressing limbs of the beguiling tree.
Beneath the strong enticing branches
She reaches out in silent lamentation.

Her soft alabaster skin illuminated,
bittersweet tears of contrition fall.
Inevitably she had lured him here,
with berceuses so sweetly soporific.

Granitic seastacks, unforgiving;
materialize at once in his peripheral.
Brutal reality brings eternal silence,
His destiny awaits on the sea bed.
