The Great Principle
Does anyone else ever think about Physics in the world that we live in? And how all the interactions of displacement, direction, velocity, acceleration, momentum…, and all-time, all succeed in succession.
“In Physics, the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system cannot change.” And so, if isolated, the imagination's power is found in convincing the one imagining that its own truth is alone true.
It transcends. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can only change form due to motion ― kinetic energy. "In Physics, motion in the universe is described through two sets of apparently contradictory laws of mechanics." This means that one whole is more than one part ― including the mind within.
"A man may imagine things that are false, but he can only understand things that are true, for if the things be false, the apprehension of them is not understanding." ― Sir Isaac Newton: 4 January 1643 ― 31 March 1727

Re: The Great Principle
understanding truth is the goal of the physicists as it is of us poets save that , we, as Emily Dickinson wrote, must write:
"with explanation kind, the Truth must dazzle gradually, or every man be blind".
Laws of poetry and physics have limitations, both
having said that I like what you say

I appreciate the comment. We all have our truths. Humans have limitations, but energy is unbound. Keep smiling.

Wow this is an intriguing, quite all encompassing theme, very nice statements and well put thoughts. And that quote by Newton is very eloquently stated, a good way to explain objectivity and subjectivity, the potentials of truth, knowledge, and grey areas of opinion and belief.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, yes :) This is truth and I believe in transcending, love it :) I love nerds... energetically, that is :)~ I wish I could snap my fingers and create matter :)I'll stick to poetry, lol And to answer your question, obviously, No. :) Thanks for the science lesson, ugh :)Now lets talk about string theory, jk
And yes, thank goodness for the truly gifted. And I laugh too :)

Thank you, it's just kinda funny, but perhaps a little sad. Regardless, lets all retire to our nerderies, and lets see what else we can create, more for good and nor for bad. Something like that anyway. ;)
You guys are awesome. Especially you who understand. I love science, and I life, and I choose to laugh.
I'm glad there exists a you.

And you don't talk about entropy? Very nice description of the Law of Thermodynamic!

Re: The Great Principle
I would only debate Newton in the matter of poetry: these imaginings that we put into poems are never falsehoods, but truth as we wish it. we hope that our labors of love will bring truth to someone, somewhere, as well as pleasure...

If Nature had to think about all the stuff that it does, do you think it would forget to do something? As usual, you invoke my philosophical brain Pisha. Love it!

That is a great question. Of course we already know the answer, relatively speaking of course, but what a great thought to explore. "Sweet is the lore which Nature brings; Our meddling intellect." ~ Wordsworth. Sir Isaac Newton, the last of the great Alchemists, and the story of science. What an awesome memory as earth recalls for those who listen (like those fine tuned geologists) :) Thank you for such understanding.

ah...it is not that energy is not born & does not die that matters to me it is the motion it takes the wave it makes the fire it ignites ......

I write a lot on isolated systems of energy. It is all throughout nature in harmony. It’s never isolated. It’s learning the mastery of confinement. This is a great piece. I love writings of Newton and his personal story. I am so lucky to know these people's minds. I love this piece. Conservation of energy. :) The laws are beautiful themselves and perfect within their symmetry. In fact Symmetry is one of them.
And you. Thank you.
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
― Albert Einstein

each of us is a part of the whole....separated only by our physical perception...our senses are but a tool to guide us through a physical plane....time is the illusion so we may respond....everything exists in an eternal now...but can never be understood that way by a physical body.

Beautiful. Claim it.

Love your thoughts Pish. "All succeed in succession." A beautiful way of saying that everything is happening all at once, it seems to me. "one whole is more than one part ― including the mind within." Also a strong and transcendental point. I think of the species as a communal awareness, pushing outward in all directions.
I think about how physics governs and affects everything around me all the time. I went out for pizza earlier. There was a short branch with leaves attached on the rear window of the car. Instead of shearing right off in the wind, it went in circles a while and I wondered about it.
