Rebuilding
Wild fires angrily rampaged my world
Destroyed me inside little by little
Trials and tribulations made me weak
Broke my bones with falling bricks and stones
Made me paranoid, distrusting, and fragile
The burning overtook me in due time
Consumed me in a furnace of hate
I went up in smoke with my dreams
That blind childhood perspective left behind
I sunk to my inevitable transition fate
Learned my lessons the hard ways
Because my heart makes me a fool
Took risks all over again and again
Like taking a gamble with my soul
Breaking every self-made life rule
Hell hath no fury like the bitch called life
But I'll be damned if I let it keep me down
