Stoned
A grin gone awry, cast across a shadowed room
At first glance, she'd sworn she had seen her impish doom
For wayward, pleasurable moments, she'd take a part of her soul
Buying and trading pieces of herself, recieving others, to make herself whole
Each time she ventured forth to experience unprecedented dreams
Always finding herself waking with a start after indulging too much in her need
Though truly she could be like pebbles being pushed through a stream
Only left to be found lost at sea.
