Condemn the thread
And you damn the cloth.
Trim instead
And still the wrath.
Let sun alight,
Without sacrifice.
No endless night
Only paradise.
All is innocence
And only fools condemn,
When deliverance
Was born in Bethlehem.
And you damn the cloth.
Trim instead
And still the wrath.
Let sun alight,
Without sacrifice.
No endless night
Only paradise.
All is innocence
And only fools condemn,
When deliverance
Was born in Bethlehem.

A poem with much food for thought, we are all part of an invisible thread, the great web of conscience....

This may not have been your intention, but it reminded me of the Massacre of the Innocents, when Herod, in desire to kill Jesus and save his own position as King of the Jews, killed all Jewish boys under two years - not knowing Jesus was nowhere in his kingdom at the time. He did not see a future Saviour - he saw a deadly rival.
