What happened to us?

Seeing you sitting there all comfortable
with your blue shorts and blue work shirt
beautiful brown eyes capture mine
I wasn't expecting to meet you this way
I stared at you with the intent of finding something
of what I am not so sure
my body gravitated to yours
felt like I was under a spell whenever you looked at me
I know you could fell the intense vibe we created together

What happened to us?

The long talks we had together
They would last until sunrise
We shared countless laughs � �
Only to cry when we laughed to hard
Where is that spark we had?
The most I see you
The more lost I become
An empty shell of myself
I don't understand
what went wrong
Even if I ask nothing will change

What happened to us?

To our relationship?
I thought we had an unbreakable bond
I can't even see you the same anymore
when I look into your eyes now I see nothing
but hopelessness and lies

What happened to us?

Everyday on the weekend spent together
Never having anyone say one name without the other
Knowing each other better than ourselves
But then you decide to hurt me like I never thought possible
You always think it's me but you were the one that hurt me
I am just so tried of all the things you find to get mad about
I'm not going to try to explain what happened because knowing you; you won't listen to anything I have to say

What happened to us?

I told you everything
Now I can't trust anyone
My heart is closed and will take a lot to be opened again
I want to talk to you the way we did before
I have cried over this too much and now I'm just mad
I wish you never did what you did
But at night all I think about is all the good times we have had
And I think to myself this is the end of our friendship
It hurts me so much to think like that, but I have to now
I loved you like a friend, a best friend at that
If our friendship is still alive
where is it?
