Black Shadow & The Other me
I wake up with the intense feeling to give into the abyss
I see this dark hungry monster feeding off the good i have left in me
Empty shell of somone who i used to be
The me who knew nothing of pain sadness death...pure innocence
This black shadow is eating away everything i have I'm getting so tired of the same old fight or flight battle everyday
Getting up everyday out of bed is a struggle
Getting ready to interact with others is another thing my mind just cant...won't let me back down
Is a quiet mind really all that peaceful?
Its like having two...

Insomiac Hangover
She sits alone in the darkness
Tossing and turning
Chest pains at full swing
Listening to music used to be her escape but now
There was nowhere to hide
It hit me hard like an unexpected hurricane
I turn the music off but it’s still playing in my head Medicating will never heal
Let me sit and watch the moon
Forever in pain
Head throbbing in pain
Hands shaking violently
A hollow shell
It’s so hard to fall asleep
When you have the moon as a loyal companion
It’s a little easier to bear...

Chameleon
When I look at you
I see something very special
I see light
I see hope
I see longing
when we are together
I feels like all my worries
fade away like when the sun
goes down and the moon shines through
our chats are very inspirational for me
they teach me about the word of God
It all makes me question things like
Where am I in my life?
Is this where I want to be?
Where do I wanna go?
Is this really all there is for me?
When I am with you I get those answers
You let me out my cage
I feel more free then ever...

What happened to us?
Seeing you sitting there all comfortable
with your blue shorts and blue work shirt
beautiful brown eyes capture mine
I wasn't expecting to meet you this way
I stared at you with the intent of finding something
of what I am not so sure
my body gravitated to yours
felt like I was under a spell whenever you looked at me
I know you could fell the intense vibe we created together
What happened to us?
The long talks we had together
They would last until sunrise

I’m going to smile and make you think I’m happy, I’m going to laugh, so you don’t see me cry, I’m going to let you go in style, and even if it kills me - I’m going to smile.
Some people say the worst way to miss someone is when they are right next to you and you know you can't have them, but it's worse when you thought you didn't want them anymore and then all of a sudden you realize you can't live without them.

One Touch
If you were here
I would take the measure of your skin
with my fingers
just a little brush across your arm
to blend my self with you
in a small, unobtrusive way
not to wake you
not to demand your attention,
not to disturb your dreaming
but simply to stake
my claim on your next breath
and the words you would speak to me
Shh come closer

I would wrap my thoughts around you
and take you with me
into a world that would allow
no apologies for need
or the wants that surface

Your Eyes
I was afraid of being with you
because I thought you was playing me
but I was so afraid to lose you..I still am
seeing you look at me so intensely with your
beautiful brown eyes that were chocolate brown with tones of amber in them that seemed to dance in the sunlight whenever the sun hit them
Long, brown eyelashes framed his eyes and gave them the perfect shape
They had a certain stain of sadness in them that was apparent when he looked away, but they were beautiful nonetheless
These eyes were lovely and strong, the kind of eyes you'd see in an angel...

Lonely Street
It never once occurred to me that i cared too much...now i see all too clearly the one way street i was walking on
I thought you would be there too
right by my side
foolish me
I wish I noticed that I was on this one way street
no turning back
no second thoughts
no one there to stop me
no one there to give me advice
no one there to keep me from tripping
when you needed someone to help you I was there
when you held on to that heavy burden
i suggested to carry it for you
I did what I thought...

Unspoken Sadness
Upon this unspoken sadness
where tears just never appear
and pain is deeply buried and hidden
there is a girl with a frozen smile
she carries it with her everywhere
holding in the pain
in front of people she wears a mask
to hide the pain
so no one is is able to see
she feels lonely even when others are around
her heart is breaking
uninteresting
not good enough
unwanted
did you know?
she cries herself to sleep at night
She has a few imperfections
but no one is perfect
everyone has flaws ...

Give me a year to forget you
Give me a year to stop loving you
