You showed me how to hate
and I still love you
you stole everything, yes even my dignity
and at times I still want to hug you
anything I liked, you broke into pieces, yep my heart too
yet, I can not get mind off of you
you let me drown in my own tears
and when I came up for unwanted air
I still needed you
you taught me trust is just a five letter word
you lied, next to me and
I still long to hear your bastardized words
born of nothing and they took everything,
simple hate filled words,
perhaps the true tragedy in all this is
I miss you like crazy,
and I still love you
you stole everything, yes even my dignity
and at times I still want to hug you
anything I liked, you broke into pieces, yep my heart too
yet, I can not get mind off of you
you let me drown in my own tears
and when I came up for unwanted air
I still needed you
you taught me trust is just a five letter word
you lied, next to me and
I still long to hear your bastardized words
born of nothing and they took everything,
simple hate filled words,
perhaps the true tragedy in all this is
I miss you like crazy,
