Her Song
I cried,
Her heart heavy,
Her guardian angel watched over her,
tried to console her,
but she was on her last breathe,
I watched her,
watched her try kill herself,
so did her guardian angel,
She gave up,
but her soul didn't
I felt her,
Felt her within me
She was staring back at me,
through the broken glass,
from a parallel universe,
I stared,
stared at her,
Her dark African skin,
glowed with the rays,
but her eyes weak,
I threw,
threw away the damaged glass,
She was stuck in her world,
with her demons,
Her soul soaring my universe,
awaiting her reincarnation.
Her heart heavy,
Her guardian angel watched over her,
tried to console her,
but she was on her last breathe,
I watched her,
watched her try kill herself,
so did her guardian angel,
She gave up,
but her soul didn't
I felt her,
Felt her within me
She was staring back at me,
through the broken glass,
from a parallel universe,
I stared,
stared at her,
Her dark African skin,
glowed with the rays,
but her eyes weak,
I threw,
threw away the damaged glass,
She was stuck in her world,
with her demons,
Her soul soaring my universe,
awaiting her reincarnation.
