Let them play endlessly in my head
As silent tears run down their familiar path
Along my cheeks
Give me the sad songs
Let me rummage through
The attic in my head.
And unpack the boxes of words unspoken
And love letters never sent.

Because as long as the play
I’m always reminded
That I’m able to feel
