Scars
The scars you bare
That bled with depression,
Guilt, and lost hope.
And you wonder why I care.
I look upon this face
That glows with angelic light.
A face once innocent,
Now coated in devilish delight.
A past lived alone
With no person to call home.
My arms are opened wide
As you collapse
Like a rushing tide.
Do not fear these thoughts
Which cause pain
And rush through your brain.
I am here,
You are welcome.
Allow me to heal these scars you bare.
For I too,
Hold scars that I shall never share.
That bled with depression,
Guilt, and lost hope.
And you wonder why I care.
I look upon this face
That glows with angelic light.
A face once innocent,
Now coated in devilish delight.
A past lived alone
With no person to call home.
My arms are opened wide
As you collapse
Like a rushing tide.
Do not fear these thoughts
Which cause pain
And rush through your brain.
I am here,
You are welcome.
Allow me to heal these scars you bare.
For I too,
Hold scars that I shall never share.
