Hurt/pain

These broken lies I hear across my slanted crimson floor,
I will break away from them and they will be no more.

My heart lost it's battle to a want and raging mind,
the teardrops I spilled for love,you never dared look behind.

How can I ever trust someone that always loses sight in hope?
So now I cast my shadow to you and begin to untie my rope.

Your cold and cruel words don't mean a thing to me,
I close my eyes and hold my breath at this very last decree.

Knowing not to be like you brings me a soft grin,
I never knew someone could lie like you and  bring me so much sin.

So here is what I say to you,“ Do you have any regret?”
Because by the time you will have read this,you will wonder why we ever met.
