Caged Bird
Lonely little girl please come out and play.
I know about the words with which you cannot say.
Caught within a loop, one you did not make
Although it isn't fair it's very hard to break.
Let me hold you tight, open up the cage.
I'll dry away your tears and help you bare the weight.
Hang on little bird your wings will grow strong.
Many notes we shall hear for your life is a song.
You've come so far my dear, though emptiness can swell (synonym? Can swallow?)

Companion Love
Love is such a powerful emotion. It can cause great devastation worse than any hurricane, leave you feeling blind and lost in the dark, and is definitely scary in every aspect of the word. But Love is also a companion we carry with us. It heals us and shields us during our most trying of times. It's an ember we keep and light from one person to the next, no longer in darkness. A Sunset Embrace
I want kisses that melt like the sun in summer
That burn with all the passion of fire and brimstone.
I wouldn't mind the crackling and hissing around me as long as I could see the beauty that is laced with color.
The Emerald greens, Scarlet reds, Sunflower yellows, and Deep Hidden blues.
I want to dance around them all and feel the warmth they give.

My Monster [Madness]
He lurks in the dark where the forest lays, down in the shadows in which he stays
I've named him Arrow for his lovely wrath, piercing anyone who gets in his path
Of all my monsters not to brag or boast, he's the one that I let out the most.
He's charm and love in all the wrong places, maybe that is why he has two faces.
Arrow is too fun, too violent and kind, I had to keep him locked up in my mind.
His claws are coated with blood that he spills, he laughs at his prey right before he kills.

Mother Life
There's a funny thing about life. She doesn't care about your feelings, your ability to do things, or what your dreams are. She's here so we can figure them out on our own. She's as brutal and merciless as Death. But she does it for a reason. You see, Life is our beginning, our mother. She wants us to experience anything and everything the world has to offer. I love you so very much, I don't know what to say
Words can never express and dreams can only sway.
Beyond every action and thought that I can feel
Comes a love I never thought could ever be so real.
Patience is a virtue even if it aches,

My Monsters P1 [Intro]
Insanity drips down from the mouths of my monsters like dogs before a juicy meal. They are my unwanted companions, untamable like wolves but compliant when I put on their leashes, for I am alpha. They prowl in their cages patiently, watching for any signs of weakness. Their eyes glittering of chaos and destruction as they imagine sinking their teeth into my flesh. Clockwork Heart Gatekeeper
I feel like my heart's at her limit,
she can't bear the brute force anymore.
All the beatings she's taken for my sake
left her wounded as she bled on the floor.
Someone, come save her! Oh misery!
For her armor's been broken and bent.
The trials of Hell won't wait for her
and from the Heavens no angel was sent.
Each clockwork petal is falling
from the garden of time she touched
while her pulse is quickly fading,
like the love she thought she clutched.
How did this all come to happen?
When she has so many who care.

My Monster (Bipolar-Depression)
Conflicting torment like a distant past,
it washes over as if it will last.
Gentics got me, yet so did the pain.
I wish I could say it drove me insane.
The hours I count only make it worse.
Depression has been my battle and curse.
Therapy has helped, I've matured and grown.
But what will happen, once I'm all alone?
I've tried to ignore and tried to forget,
tried to carry on and not be upset.
The thing about life is it's never fair.
Giving and taking, a constant repair.
I pick myself up right after I fall
but, my monster's smart,...

Whispers in the Night
If you ever find out I'm here
I'll lead you to your sorrow.
Please run away, I'll make it clear.
Be safe until tomorrow.
Spirits that whisper in the night,
Their deceiving hands reach out.
Using words that sound just right
So to soothe all of your doubt.
They say they'll take away your pain
And leave you with a smile.
Don't succumb to the love they feign,
You'll stumble from their guile.
I roam amongst the lying dead,
This is the price that was paid.
All because I did what they said,
It's the worst mistake I've made....

Love's Distance
Thorns may prick us,
Piercing the soft skin that holds us together.
But we continue on through the rose bushes to meet love’s other side.
We both smell its sweetness and know of its pure taste.
The elements that create its beauty bloom before our eyes.
Those around us try to reason that the distance will only lengthen the pain.
But we knew this,
yet decided to paint the distance in shades only we could see.
As the petals fell around us
Thus would begin our new life.
Piercing the soft skin that holds us together.
But we continue on through the rose bushes to meet love’s other side.

Melody
The dark and dreary sky sings me a lullaby.
How perfect the loose melody sways in my head like a dandelion in a gentle breeze, and how it makes my eyelids warm and heavy. Heavy enough to snap closed but gentle enough to soothe.
Swirling in a cloud of warmth, I stir and awaken to the hum of birds in the morning's horizon.
The song so sleek on the slippery dew just as the sun grazes the tips of the freshly cut grass. I sing along with the faint song the wild birds sang.
The hum was just right and the morning all bright, I couldn't have had a better night.
How perfect the loose melody sways in my head like a dandelion in a gentle breeze, and how it makes my eyelids warm and heavy. Heavy enough to snap closed but gentle enough to soothe.
