The Girl In the Mirror

The girl in the mirror, who is she?

Is it someone else or is it me?

Why does the blood drop from her fingertips?

Seems like her body is a battlefield.

Why does she laugh when she's in pain?

Why does she try to please, expecting no gain?

She's dying inside, she'll go insane

Screams echoing inside like refrain.

She's sick in the head

Inside she is dead,

She wants to feel alive so she'll cut instead,

So she starts a with scratch and goes deep ahead.

This is an illness she cannot escape

She is fucked up and her mind is raped,

She'll die with words left unsaid

The voices won't stop until she has broken down,

But still she'll be smiling and laughing like a clown.

She's screaming for help but no one hears

She's leaving hints through her silent tears,

Acting tough was no good at all,

She's unfolding her secrets as she's beginning to fall.
