Ira & Luxuria

My life had ended abrupt.
By the time I realized it,
I stood upon the almighty clouds
And before the golden gates
Wishing for acceptance.

One by one,
People were granted
everlasting peace.
It was amazing to see
angels obtain their wings

I was getting closer
I saw in a distance
as rose pedals fell in grace
How can one resists such excitement?
When denial is dealt by a another mouth.

it was my turn now
To accept eternal joy
To live in peace forever
That is-until I fell from the clouds.

Spiraling from the light
through the in between
and into hell.
The darkness was inviting
As the fires of the damned
warmed my heart

I wanted redemption
To end the white plague
of divinity
I got my wings,
And I obtained my fire

This rage was bliss
As I insisted to wage war
I flew in contempt
To end an angel

And there she was upon those clouds
Playing beautiful music
A muse to all the souls
put to eternal rest.

I approached her with a smile
To sway her into my rues.
I acted gentle
I acted graceful
To deceive her
To end her.

I grabbed her wings
and I tore them away
her screams were more music now
A cry of the heavens
And my wraith.

I burned her eyes out
and I stuck my claws into
her chest
engraving lacerations of revenge
Putting her angelics to an end.

I am lacking confusion
I am a demon
Welcomed in the dark embers of revenge
my only will now is to kill.
As I did- I lust for more.
