Samhain
All hallows eve
As you may know
Is not what it was
So very
Long
Ago
In the days of the druids
The witches' moons
Samhain was a night
Of cheerful tunes
A spirited feast
If you get my jest
Our ghosts and our goblins may have been guests
Dance around the fire
And pray to father oak
Modern day Halloween
Seems as a joke
Speak with mother moon
As souls intertwine
As those of our coven
Partake in mulled wine
Now there is nothing wrong with this new Halloween
But Samhain
Now that
My brothers
My sisters
Is a sight to be seen
As you may know
Is not what it was
So very
Long
Ago
In the days of the druids
The witches' moons
Samhain was a night
Of cheerful tunes
A spirited feast
If you get my jest
Our ghosts and our goblins may have been guests
Dance around the fire
And pray to father oak
Modern day Halloween
Seems as a joke
Speak with mother moon
As souls intertwine
As those of our coven
Partake in mulled wine
Now there is nothing wrong with this new Halloween
But Samhain
Now that
My brothers
My sisters
Is a sight to be seen
