as rats and cats
and super mice
some came as vampires
with bloodied mouths
others ghouls
zombies and ghosts
many other things worst

the party was noisy
laughter screams
like caffeined banshees
upon the stage
appear a wizard
cruel face
with crueler voice
indeed, a demented soul

Live and be alive
screams he, silence reigned
and all the costumed
became as they were dressed
cacophony of sounds
screams and shouts
then the party began
out the door they scrambled

the street was swamped
with evil beings
hitting and eating
anything alive
some even their companions
houses open to trick or treat
were rampaged

on the streets, doorsteps and homes
