A cloudy day
On a grey day,the clouds wanted to set their feet on the Earth's floor.
If you reached out far enough you could shake their hands.
The sun hid behind them like a leopard from it's prey.
It gave them time to waltz about in the grim sky.
On that day the heavens were sad.
The clouds were heavy with untold stories.
The sky poured its heart out onto the Earth,
Bringing about showers of tears that were held back for many moons.
After a while the sky felt a heavy burden lift off its shoulders and commanded the clouds to close their taps of water.
The sun's rays pierced through the dark clouds and light was brought onto the Earth once more.
The birds came out to sing and the children resumed their playing,
For the clouds had interrupted them and will continue to do so time and again.
