WALLS AROUND me

built these walls all around To try to encage myself Turning back on the world Forever refusing all help fears they surround me Devoured my soul Left broken into pieces Impossible to be made whole tears they became rivers Until they drowned just let myself lie Dying in my own folly depression it destroyed Left empty and closed off Until all memories i simply forgot Every night you come to my prison to free me, Trying to reach you But you no longer saw me You closed your mind and body Let your heart just freeze Watched me outside the bars Begging you not to please I constantly tried and failed Your empty eyes they watched It broke my heart to see you I prayed for it to stop tonight you came once again But not to set me free came to say goodbye But you can’t even hear me i stand weeping as I watch you But I have to turn away I’m empty Completely closed myself off All the pain and memories Like you I’ve forgot I created walls around me keeping everything away heart goes cold So I no longer feel the old way I become what you are What I once did fear No emotion escapes me Not even a single tear Now these bars surround me Behind them i die They keep in dark secrets,recoil inside locked up emotions Then throw away the key The world outside aches for me But the bars don’t let me see build them to get away Thinking rest is better then death,But these bars slowly kill They’re just cages for the depressed rot in this cell i’ve made tie up myself in chains Becauce the reason im behind these bars Is because inside ive gone completely insane
