Burden
All she ever wanted was a perfect life,
A loving husband, for a lovely wife.
She would bare the burden through the years.
Taken for granted for all of the time
That she slaved away in the grime.
Wasting away in her flowing tears.
In tune with her bible.
Entombed in my lies.
Years and years of endless Whiskey,
A boozed maniac with a key.
I would bare hatred through all the years.
Glory in buzzed brain ways in the bars,
Fucking a skank bitch in a car.
The wife always knowing in her tears.
In tune with her duty.
Entombed in her life.
Then one night in a drunken rage,
Murderous just like a killer plague.
Cursing with my fists in the air,
Shoving her, watching as she fell
Down the stairs.
Gradually I came to my senses,
Of a shattered home and broken fences.
I know deep down I am to blame,
As I was forcefully dragged in chains.
