No place for someone like me...

And yet, the hard ironic truth is that without people like you, there would be no world that could seemingly do without you: unsung, unappreciated, disrespected by the very ones you have provided with the freedom to ignore you, but  never unloved, and you know that.  There is a place for someone just like you, right here.

It gets to a point where the answers to the why's are not good enough.  I have been in this place every single damn time and so tired of feeling used and cheated in some way.
But I would never let the treatment from others be the reason my lights go out.

Keep fighting my friend. I was in a really low place only days ago but I beat the crap out of it until it left me.

Well, I guess people like you and I and many others, need to start a support group because we definitely exist. We're just placed amongst those who lack our loving energy. Placed in their presence purposely, I believe! :)

You know rain I do believe that, but I am fallible and human and sometimes the sorrows in heart outweigh my the wisdom of my soul. Its beautiful people like you that help bring me back to the light thank you so much.

There have been periods in my life when I felt that only if I died ...would people notice I am gone....so I identified with your poem and your dilemma and your pain.  The poem was an excellent write and a good read.  I do not feel I am in a category by myself.  Agree with Rain...maybe there needs to be a group.

Sweets my heart was heavy yesterday and I did not answer as I should have, it is my honor and true pleasure to give voice to the underdog to, the unsung because this world can be a hurtful place.Thank you so much for reading this piece.

Wow this piece was deep and rife with
conviction.
It gave me chills.

Someone like you as you say would seem
out of place because the present course
of the world seems to be the polar-opposite.

But as it was once said; it all comes back
around again.

I know that it seems contradictory to a lot
of my scribes but there is a Scripture that
always strengthened me...

"Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

I think the patient part is what got me.
