I'm Just Saying

To take a few minutes
out of your day
to just  say hey
is such a wonderful thing.

Then to let your hair down
and relax with a friend
is just scrumptious.

To take a stroll
or walk in the surf
is such a freeing experience.

To talk into the night
and hold hands
while contemplating the stars  
makes life so easy.

But just being yourself
and not worrying a single bit
if the other person minds
if you get naked,
sing at the top of your lungs,
and laugh until your sides ache,
that is something
that warrants
taking the time out
just to explore
the option of thinking
without any previous guidance
or fear whatsoever.
