ballerina girl

Ballerina girl with the sweetest smile and engaging eyes. You caught me like a fish pulling the line and made me blind. Your strong ebony complexion stood out and you became the only one I could see. As if you cleared the studio so you could be the only one to be seen. Oh ballerina girl I wish you could dance with me. My hand in yours as I lead you into my mind. I’d like to search yours so imagine what we both could find. I’ll do pirouettes with you until I’m dizzy  and fall over. I’m dizzy with thoughts of you because you’ve been dancing in my head since I left. Now I remember you like a good impression. Your fitness is a good example that you’re setting. I wonder if you’re as painful as I am on this Sunday of resting. You’re as beautiful as your name. Your name and your personality are the same. I could put it all in a frame or keep it sacred like a diary page. If you were my secret I would reveal you because you don’t deserve to be a concealed truth. I’ll hold your hand everywhere and tell you how I feel if you care. You’ve caught my attention like a flare. Easy-going and easy to talk to. Easy on the eyes and easily charming too. All you had to do was smile and I was all yours. You’re a real Nubian princess so I am on all fours. I could call you dark chocolate but chocolate is not sweet enough. But what could be sweeter than original African beauty. With curves in all the right places and skin that’s been kissed by the sun. A voice so absorbing and energy in abundance. Ballerina girl you made a move on my heart and now I feel good. I want to dance with you by candlelight. And choreograph the stars as back-up dancers for our cosmic routine. Synchronise the ocean to be in tune with our every step. Have the trees sway like the dress you’d be wearing as I swing you around. I want to dance to your tune like a Spanish guitar or African drums. If you’re my dance review I’m pointing up with both my thumbs. Ballerina girl with the sweetest smile and engaging eyes.
