Musing

Bum-Bump
Heart beat sounds:

My head on her chest
between her breasts,
I can hear her heart
as she rests,
afterwards.

First, it was shallow,
and then hard at it,
and the lurching,
and then mellow
finally,
afterwards.

I take my fingers
and walk them up
her inner thigh,
and, as I do,
her heart launches again ,
a round of thumping,
as I play with her,
pale and avidly smiling.

Her face shapes
into a gliding spoon
as her neck rises
in an arch.

Her back recoils
as my hand moves forward
and afterwards,
she breathes again,
against the grain
of the hairs
now raised
on her skin,
everywhere,
and afterwards relaxing.

Again and again,
I relaunch her,
recoiling and relaxing.

Pulling her forward
and afterward,
building and playing,
until finally
she grabs my hand
and pulls it into her
and pushes it hard
against her bull's-eye
and then soft
and then presses down
and sighs
and then releases me
and lets my hand fall down
to her side,
afterwards.

And I smile,
as her musing
subsides,
and afterwards.
