IN THE MIRROR, ON THE BED
(Inspired by two poems by Tommie Lynn – "Bed" and "Reflections from The Ceiling".)
Upon the bed we writhe and thrust
As we expend our pent-up lust,
Our bare bodies, all-revealing,
In the mirror on the ceiling,
That one of us (nudge-nudge, wink-wink)
Installed to gratify ‘our’ kink.
Just thought of being reflected
Easily keeps us erected.
Every scratch line and tattoo
Can’t escape each other’s view,
And when the romp has taken place,
We see what it’s put on each face,
As we look from the bed, face up,
And sound a loud collective “YUP!”
We’re still a handsome pair (so vain);
We’d happily do this again.
In the mirror and on the bed
We can go both at once, naked.
Adventures in the looking glass
(A step up from the ol’ long grass
Remembered from our courting days)
We have, they don’t cease to amaze.
Upon the bed we writhe and thrust
As we expend our pent-up lust,
Our bare bodies, all-revealing,
In the mirror on the ceiling,
That one of us (nudge-nudge, wink-wink)
Installed to gratify ‘our’ kink.
Just thought of being reflected
Easily keeps us erected.
Every scratch line and tattoo
Can’t escape each other’s view,
And when the romp has taken place,
We see what it’s put on each face,
As we look from the bed, face up,
And sound a loud collective “YUP!”
We’re still a handsome pair (so vain);
We’d happily do this again.
