3 dogs

Temple of the love God,
stands in ancestral stance,
shadowed by night
and lit by lamps of the orange street,
It is the three guardians i meet.
They protect the path to elation
and serve the Love God and his manisfestation
I stand, stark in unease
they bark as their breaths freeze
they snarl at my presence
they come to my feet to tease
and stand in unfriendly posture to smell my essence

Over the shadows of the barking guardians
i can see the passage to comfort and warmth
it is in winding un eaven cobbled paths
and in holy mercy of the temple guards

the night now old, the walls are cold
and mist resonates forth from my mouth

they drool and bark
my presence stark
they speak in toungues unheard
their fur stands
they ask of who i was, where i was going and why was i out so late.
They smelt my clothes and gathered around me
i could feel their once warm breath
now as ice upon my leg

I told them of who i was, i told them i was going on the path of warmth and comfort and only seek forgivness of trespass, i honor their love god and pay my respects to the temple.

3 dogs stand in impressive stance
astonished by my non chalance
their fur fall, their snarls smile
they launched to attack
they capture me in their purest affection
and lick the feet of my heart beat,
they clear the way and i pass the temple of the Love God
i give my soul to the night, for i know the 3 dogs will guard it right.

thanks for walking me home.
