When there's love it's dark
And it's only dark when there's love
We'll only keep sinking in
Deeper and deeper
I'm drowning
As I hastily try to paint the stars black
Because you asked me to
You said I didn't deserve the light
And I believed you
You dug deeper and deeper
Until I let you bury me alive
Now the air is murky
My lungs tired of breathing these same words that lack meaning and sentiment
And I sit here in shame
As I stare into the broken shards hating who I've become
Because when I close my eyes,
All I could ever dream of is your poison
Your love
Your potenful darker black
