In Our Memories
Frays on edges of memories
Feel the urge to tell of them
Torn ragged and worn
Maybe, but there
It stretches through imaginations
its spitefulness half there
to oblivion,
but spoken of all the same
rising sombre clouds of then
Tell me then
What lies within
Your heart, in the threads
Of all your remembered
kisses and touches
How was your spoken word
Of love,
for you have loved then
and hard
Do you feel the lingering
want of desire’s caresses
Do you remember
the sweetness
of answered needs
do you remember
your name called
echo and re-echo
within your head
Do you still see your name
carved in the halls
of her memories
Or a simple call
From her to say
for a while be with me
In this space and speak
How much you are
Missed…
I feel the clasp
Unravelling
The words uttered
A thousand years ago
Resounds in the halls
Of time
Pledges made
Promises given
Dusts on trodden roads
Until heart and soul meets
Giving flesh to forms
Rising like phoenixes
From yesteryear’s ashes.
Feel the urge to tell of them
Torn ragged and worn
Maybe, but there
It stretches through imaginations
its spitefulness half there
to oblivion,
but spoken of all the same
rising sombre clouds of then
Tell me then
What lies within
Your heart, in the threads
Of all your remembered
kisses and touches
How was your spoken word
Of love,
for you have loved then
and hard
Do you feel the lingering
want of desire’s caresses
Do you remember
the sweetness
of answered needs
do you remember
your name called
echo and re-echo
within your head
Do you still see your name
carved in the halls
of her memories
Or a simple call
From her to say
for a while be with me
In this space and speak
How much you are
Missed…
I feel the clasp
Unravelling
The words uttered
A thousand years ago
Resounds in the halls

Until heart and soul meets
Giving flesh to forms
Rising like phoenixes
From yesteryear’s ashes.
