Successful Pleasure
Doing the best I can
Am I really, could I do more
How does one measure
The pain or the pleasure
Is success that mansion you stay in
Is success that big fancy car
Is success the big fat bank account
Not for me, not by far
Yes I am doing my best
Always striving to do more
A life filled with zest
Only to end when I hit the floor
How do I measure
My pain and pleasure
It's easy, the pain keeps me sane
The pleasure is seeing smiles
On those who I treasure
Am I really, could I do more
How does one measure
The pain or the pleasure
Is success that mansion you stay in
Is success that big fancy car
Is success the big fat bank account
Not for me, not by far
Yes I am doing my best
Always striving to do more
A life filled with zest
Only to end when I hit the floor
How do I measure
My pain and pleasure
It's easy, the pain keeps me sane
The pleasure is seeing smiles
On those who I treasure
