Another Nightmare
Another nightmare
Another scare
The same one again and again
How many times have I dreamt this dream since before I was even ten
Again and again I am chased through the trees
Again and again on the roots do I trip and bruise my knees
I hear them, can you?
They're coming for me... for the girl who calls herself blue
A changing, faceless crowd
Fear transforms the forest into a beast that roars and howls
I run until I can run no more
For there is the cliff and the sea without a shore
They surround me and I have nowhere to go
Hatred in their eyes, reflecting the fire from the torches in their sweaty hands
Friends that show their color of betrayal by where on the side of the line they have chosen to stand
No one to the left and no one to the right
I'm alone once more with my nightmare tonight
