'Shoe Tosser'

 ~grew up playing,
love it to this day
n thanks to my dad I was GOOD,

AAHH Yeah...

I can remember

it was like,  just  yesterday,
I can see it so clearly...
my brothers, friends, and me
ruthlessly, teasing, bragging,
tossing those shoes, for all to see
who'll the last one standing be

Taking it to them all...

often you'd hear the call, "ringer!"
only to have it topped...

that was a real stinker
but, it was how they did plop

developing their skills tossing shoes
many challengers have tried...

and consistently, they'd lose.

Today?

he STILL tosses a mean shoe
step up to the plate,

you're bound to lose too
because 'out point' you

if he has to...

or 'leaners' might be

all he threw..
but if he tosses

Ringers?
