Once upon a time
Once upon a time,
The smell of rain,
And the sound of rustling trees
In the wind
Mesmerized my mind.
There were moolit rides,
In the fantasy of an unparalleled kind.
Once upon a time,
There was everything,
That is treasured by a juvenile,
In the youth of happiness,
From the clutches of the world quarantined.
Once upon a time,
There was life running through
My veins, breath flowing through
My eyes,
Now only my soul survives.
Seeking salvation amidst
Silent cries that secretly drown,
The goodness and sounds,
That once shone, through our lives.
Once upon a time.
The smell of rain,
And the sound of rustling trees
In the wind
Mesmerized my mind.
There were moolit rides,
In the fantasy of an unparalleled kind.
Once upon a time,
There was everything,
That is treasured by a juvenile,
In the youth of happiness,
From the clutches of the world quarantined.
Once upon a time,
There was life running through
My veins, breath flowing through
My eyes,
Now only my soul survives.
Seeking salvation amidst
Silent cries that secretly drown,
The goodness and sounds,
That once shone, through our lives.
Once upon a time.
