Emotional servitude
Emotional servitude, has her feeling blue
Weighted down by the stress they put her through
Taking multiple pills, just to sleep at night
Highly depressed, and tried to overdosed twice
Bent on ending her young life, wailing soft preyer's
Feeling like nobody cares, like nobodys ever there
No shoulder to lean on, when broken-hearted, in tears
Realizing her biggest fears, lurking in the dark
Cutting into her flesh, Leaving permanent marks
infatuated with visible blood, dripping from her wrist
Edging toward the open window, staring down at the gray bricks
As she grabbed a colorful scarf, putting it on, tying it tight
Turning her back towards the cool air of the night
Leaning backwards out the window head first
Letting her body drop, ending what she feels is a curse
Soaking the scarf with warm bitter tears
Liberating herself from the pain she endured here
Weighted down by the stress they put her through
Taking multiple pills, just to sleep at night
