Fast Food For Thought
Humility in prepackaged containers
Smiles for the sake of portraits
Indicative to a core
Withering
A Hooverville of sentiments posing
Vogue for camera eyelids
Photographic memories
At least he hopes
The crutched philanthropist
Leaning upon good deeds
To mesmerize the flowers and plants
In hopes their vines grow
Slithering down his throat
Wrapping around vocal chord columns
Lining themselves against the walls of his stomach
Strengthning the infrastructure of his anatomy
Strength as a play
Reflective of a man's insecurities
Karma has no monetary likeness
It can't pile up behind thick vault doors
To one day be splurged and wasted
For mediocrity's purposes
It can't be staged
Dusted by theatrics
Expected to sellout the halls that you dream
Yet when do we learn theses lessons?
Till it's too late?
Till it's all gone?
Wait and see
Vertigo from the rooftop
Either slip forwards or backwards
Either tumble backwards into abysmal grandeur
Or fall forwards into good graces
And perhaps then
Ponder on the falseness you've been living
And judge "Worth it, or Not"
