In The Dead Of The Night

When the moon is full
and night stretches
across the land the
beast comes out

The old folks in town
talk about this thing
in stories to strangers
on their visits

Many men have died
from this creatures
actions many have
been left to feel pain
and bare the scares

Going out in the dead
of the night while the
moon fills the sky is
not recommended

Especially if you're a
man a helpless lonely
man the beast likes
to feed on them

Sucking the eyes out
one by one then it
would chew them and
swallow them

The beast once stripped
the flesh off a mans body
with it's razor sharp teeth
leaving him to die a horrible
long suffering death

So remember when the
darkness blankets the
land and the moon fills
the sky stay inside

Don't go outside
in the dead of the night
where the creature can
devour your body
