Where were you April nineteenth,
the day a man scarred Oklahoma with a nation displeased.
Twisted purpose to plotted plan,
many looked that day at that sinister van.
going on about their day,
they had no idea they would die with great pain!
Mind numbing hate, twisted in rage,
much torturous pain was given that fatal day.
A misguided boy, turned and twisted by hate,
all those lives him and his cohorts did take.
Today you can walk through a memorial,
feel each pain as you walk and are fearful.
You can hear children playing eternally there,
it is okay if you stop and you stare.
Don't worry about the people gone,
weep for the survivors and families,
they want their loved ones and friends,
they pray and they long.
Never forget Oklahoma's tragic day,
come here and find out why we stay!
