Hazel
She once was a beautiful woman ,
then time took its grinding toll.
She died aged 62 , too early for sure .
The perfect Grandmother , Mother and very honest , too honest .
Hazel was her name and she would rather be incarcerated than tell a lie .
The lines on her face were like the veins on a leaf ,stretching out but really they were there too soon .
Cigarettes killed her , my lovely Grandma .
I miss her .
