i always loved to hear poetry and have a thing for english so recently i decided to start writing some of my own. I know they arent up to par with some of you guys up here but i want to get there please help me out with some feed back

Mapped Love
I just want to build with you
Our never never land where it's you and I and nothing else lies in our land of love
Fort US
Maybe stationed outside the U.S?
Or maybe we can just cruise the Atlantic and let the waves take us to our destiny!
I don't care anymore I just want you!
Two souls with one goal
And only reliant on the man upstairs as our co-pilot and the love which helped us even get to this point
I can't fathom how much you mean to me but wherever this love takes us
im willing to go the distance

Love symphony
You are just a blur to me now
A mere figment to my imagination
Me without you I had never imagined that
I sit and reminisce but I can't go back
Never return to that place you took me
Darkness fell early on us and the street lights never came back on this road to love
Friends turned into lovers now lovers into haters thought the hate would run the cycle back around
Yet it ended there
Screaming love me in the atmosphere and it yelled back fuck you
Let that song play on repeat and listen as the sound of love and hate create a beautiful cotastrophe

Thoughts
I open my eyes sometimes and see nothing but black
Sounds crazy but it's true
Absolutely nothing exists or even matters
Except my inner voice
Telling me that I'm not alone
I would love to believe him but the way reality is set up physically I am
No one understands
No one even attempts
Meanwhile as thoughts on that whole subject travel lights years per second the normal time I have on this earth pass me by
Flying with one wing and waving with the other
Soaring with lack of effort
While I'm going brain dead wondering where I went wrong
Damn...

Why?
I find myself in the spotlight of life but my backdrop is grey
Things and people are temporary
No hi or hello's anymore but I'll look you up on Facebook though and see how many likes you got on your last photo before I slide in your direct messages
Did you get the message?
Nothing is the same... Too many just here for fame and if you aren't you are considered lame... Now how am I supposed to tame this inner anger in me when you curse me out for asking your name...
Your body doesn't look like this, your smile isn't bright enough your personality doesn't match the real...

Love Hell
Maybe I'm just meant to be alone
Didn't work with my best friend nor the one i long lusted for
Now I'm here with nothing but papers and metaphors
Never imagined sitting at the end of the table
Only to look over and see your lives, without me
Shit hurts,
Never needed or asked for anything but time and communication
The hands on this love clock must be broken
Lucky me the so called technician is blind and reads brail
Fuck,
This is love hell!
Fine just let me burn until my angel calls on me
And saves me from this lonesome life of captivity

High life
I keep saying that the last time was my last
But I can't seem to run fast enough from my past
Eventually my luck will run out and life will just pass me by
All because I got high now ain't that some ish
Young nigga with a title and career making money living good the way I'm supposed to
But it's something about inhaling the thc and exhaling until I can't see all the bullsh*t this world has in store for me
I promise I'm going to leave it alone just after this last toke of the bong
And one more head nod to Khalifas song... Man I'm blown
As my mind begins to take...

Late Night Imagery
If I could paint our love
It would contain messy but vibrant colors
Ones that show our darkest to brighters endeavors
Deep reds would display our passion as well as pain
Fifty shades of grey to express our sensual side
But yet express our lows from whenever we lowered our eyes from
One another's heart
Then I would splash in yellow and maybe orange
Just something bright
So we both can see how our future could be if we still existed as one
All in all though
I wouldn't want to create this picture with anyone else
I just can't brush...

It's something about you that puts me in awe every time your around
What a beautiful creature God had bestowed before me
May I bow down and give you the praise ye so deserve.. It's whatever you please my goddess... Just let me cater to you... Mind.. Body... And Soul send them all too heaven and just let me bless you with all the desires you so crave. Don't be ashamed to let go... We were created to be free so untame and unchain whatever lies abiss in you.. Let me deal with that and let me cater to you

Do what you love or forever regret
For a man with regrets is a man none the less but
Why set at a boring desk when you could do what you do best
Think back to those childhood days when you didn't have a care in the world
Now all of a sudden you grow up and all you care about is what the world thinks
And all the while your thinking about if the world is thinking about you
Time is passing by waving and winking at you

What is love
What is love really??
Some say it's just a four letter word
But it's more than just a word.. In my opinion it has no real definition
To me though, love is simply sacrifice
Giving someone or something your all; despite what your capable of, how much you may lack in the end so they can have
When you love someone they can hurt you a thousand times and somehow you can still forgive
When you love someone nothing can come between that covalent bond that you made
When you love someone you are willing to do everything in your power to keep that first found happiness...
