POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Lyricist and poet
Within this awkward silence
Within this awkward silence
I realised, you'd realised it
I could tell by the sudden disapearence
Of your goofy boyish smile
Now; in this new moment ofneverending silence
You realise; I realise, you realised it
And in this realisation
Lies no place for either of us to hide
I realised, you'd realised it
I could tell by the sudden disapearence
Of your goofy boyish smile
Now; in this new moment ofneverending silence
You realise; I realise, you realised it
And in this realisation
Lies no place for either of us to hide

Debris of your dreams
Pathways that lead to nowhere,
Promises that lead me to you,
Endless hallways paved with dust,
Looking for you love, and lust.
Locked doors which I fail to open,
If only you'd lend me the keys,
Endlessly searching, Effortlessly hoping,
That maybe your somewhere waiting for me,
Is this search to fulfill my dearest dreams,
Too much to ask of you and me?
Or is it hopeless? I ask my own heart,
Everynight before I fade back to sleep,
But I find reason in what we once believed,
Was...
Promises that lead me to you,

Looking for you love, and lust.
Locked doors which I fail to open,

Plaster Portrait
Portray me only of what I am
Don’t betray this crumbling canvas
Paint me only in red white and black
To polish this perfect picture of sadness
Keep the background wrinkled but bland
And the sky dark with a mixture of coal and blood
Don’t be afraid to get some on your hands
It won’t stain, but drip longingly off
And back onto the vacant spaces in the painting
But be sure to keep the outlines thick where the burgundy sun doesn’t hit
Keep the shadows light as if a spill of bleaching liquid had...

So do I...
She told me that she missed you
She said she yearned to hear your voice
She said the last time that she kissed you
You seemed to be annoyed
She swore she really didneed you
She said that she needed to know
If you still loved her
She said she feltshe was torn
As if her heart had been broken
I said I knew how she felt
She said she wondered about it
If you’d found someone else
She said she didn’t want to doubt you
But it’s clear to the eye
She knows that something’s not right here
And so do I…
She said she yearned to hear your voice
She said the last time that she kissed you
You seemed to be annoyed
She swore she really didneed you
She said that she needed to know
If you still loved her

Just another broken soul
Just another broken soul
A hand suspended there to hold
As hollow as an empty shell
And lifeless as a baby doll
She sits there missing who she owes
Clicking nails, as she goes
No handleft for her to hold
She's just another broken soul
A hand suspended there to hold
As hollow as an empty shell
And lifeless as a baby doll
She sits there missing who she owes
Clicking nails, as she goes
No handleft for her to hold
She's just another broken soul

DEPRESSION IS REAL(Acrynom Poem)
Deeply
Excruciating
Pitiful
Rejection
Equals
Societies
Standards
Impacting
Others
Nevertheless
It's
Sorrow
Really.
Endlessly
Aimlessly
Lurking
DEPRESSION IS REAL
So don't ignore it!

Endlessly
Aimlessly
Lurking
DEPRESSION IS REAL

Arrows
You sent black arrows
Through my blazing heart
They flew for miles
Till they finally dropped
They went through hedges
Over Mountain tops
Till they finally stopped at her
You sent Red Roses
To my mailbox
They came from gardens
All around the block
But the time was ticking and
The clocks hands stopped
When you found your way to her
You sent emotions
Of the scarring kind
Tears were streaming
Out of these eyes so blind
And although time has passed
I can’t help but sigh

Fading into nothingness...
Black blood
Pink nails
Deep cuts
Sharp blades
Blue marks
Pale stains
Light tears
Red face
Hard Heart
Slow pace
Harsh scars
New game
Deep sleep
No pain
Sweet Dreams
Wont wake
Goodnight =(

Skeletons
Nothing in the concrete cracks
The way she moves
It counterracts
The way she feels
When she acts out an understanding smile
Coz deep down she feels like broken glass
Sifting through the skeletons
Of her past
Climbing the mountains
But not coming back
Realizing shes all on her own
But in pride she wont go looking back
She'll walk through doors, find straighter paths
She'll find diamonds when she looks for finer things
And although its hard to be alone
She'll search for one to call her own
On the right track, down the right road...

Paper People
Papercuts
Upon Papercuts
As we link hands
Blank Expressions
Pale Faces
That only we can understand
We've all been creased,
And cute and folded
We've been Outcast
But they don't care
Cos they don't stand here
In this broken Paperchain
They don't know it
What we learnt
At such a young age
And when we learnt
About hurt
It was the hard way
They havn't been mistreated
Snarled at, beaten
Like they were objects
They weren't hated
Because of the clothes they fit in
Or what...

Close the door on your way out
The door was closed before you walked in
Don’t walk out and leave it open
No second chances left to give
It’s you cheek to now expect one
No tears to be shed as long as I live
For the fool no better than none
No hurt, nor revenge, I don’t want to stay friends
And although my hearts not broken
I no longer wish to know you…
Don’t walk out and leave it open
No second chances left to give
It’s you cheek to now expect one
No tears to be shed as long as I live
For the fool no better than none
No hurt, nor revenge, I don’t want to stay friends

Tales of a mistress
Descended
From embers
A note torn
In pieces
Blakened chalk edges
Licked by the flames
Words not intended
Ever to reach him
So now she burns them
In attempt to take awayher pain
But her tears
Still sit on her skin
Burning
Like the fire that destroys
All evidence
Of anything
She ever said
Anyone she ever loved
As if she’d never had her heart broken
From embers
A note torn
In pieces
Blakened chalk edges
Licked by the flames
Words not intended
Ever to reach him
So now she burns them
In attempt to take awayher pain
But her tears
Still sit on her skin
Burning
Like the fire that destroys
All evidence
Of anything
She ever said
Anyone she ever loved
As if she’d never had her heart broken
