Portal
A portal to another dimension
go there for relief from this
earthly tension
The body stays behind as the
Soul Spirit head out to
the Cosmos
high in the sky
Like to travel at night
by the stars illuminating light
A glimpse of life on the
other side
after my earthly tour
is no more
quite the feat quite
the treat
Virus got that slogan going
STAY AT HOME
yet and still my Soul Spirit
still do roam
go there for relief from this

Sky Mysteries
Looking to the sky
wondering whats in
store for me
Formations of clouds of bodies
and faces
seem to follow me
As the twilight begins
to peak
I see the page of day
turning dark
as I silently sit among
the Majestic Cedars Mighty oaks
Maple and Pines
listening to the knowledge I seek
So with the night comes
comes stars sparkle delight
The moon so big and pretty
light up the night
I see images of constellations
my uncle shown me
many moons ago
Maybe one day a spaceship
I see ...

stick up for a dollar
cause I work my day
to get my pay
Takin me another country drive

Slowin down on all these curves
like life you sometimes take
a swerve
but I am keeping things focused
without none of that hocus pocus
got my dream in sight

Passage To My Mind
Passage to my mind
gather thoughts
go there time to time
Passage to my mind
a world of a different kind
going to the deepest darkest
corner of my mind
entering where dark and
light meet
to find knowledge
others may not seek
to explore in calm serenity
to kiss the lips of infinity
then return
each time

When The Sky Was Blue
When the sky was blue I was but a tot
playing in the parking lot
all 4 seasons came at their given time
stealing a candy bar was a major crime
fun was the order of day
25 cents went a long way
just watching the air planes take off
into the sky
me wondering whats above those clouds
so high
When the sky was blue the air
was fresh
knew nothing of the meshing
of flesh
I never knew of an Ozone and
my castle was our home
going to school was cool
now killing fellow students the rule
somewhere on the way I was...

Out takin a walk in the woods
doin the Soul some refreshen good
Serendipity descended upon me
and said
Let me talk as we walk
with me what you search for
you will always find somethin better

my PTSD
Not out to save or
convert the world
Never use it to pursue
or woo some special woman
or girl
Writing just something to
relax my mind
Controversy for controversy
sake
I do decline
sitting in my little corner
of the world
not bothering anyone
what I prefer
Like watching words and
lines come together
Writing just a lil relaxin time
to spin a rhyme
for me
