Facade
you think you are free
you are chained
hiding your true self
from those you claim to love
seeking solace
in strangers' embraces
caring nothing for
Truth
Honor
Love
you pillage
seeking to bury pain
torturing other souls
never recognizing
that your contempt
resides within
Driving
Caustic
Hateful
you destroy
those who would love you
before they can know
the darkest secrets
which are hidden
deep inside
Furtive
Buried
Corrupt
you taint
empathy and innocence
with lies and deceit...
you are chained

Phoenix
Phoenix rising
fiery sparks
spiral upwards
to dance with
ethereal elementals
in ebony skies
sloughing earthly bonds
and entanglements
freedom awaits
igniting desires
long forgotten
reborn flesh sings
and rejoices
in euphoria
magnificent flight
crescendoing
explosions ignite
luminous radiance
plummeting back
into depths of despair
Prometheus bound
fiery sparks
spiral upwards
to dance with

sloughing earthly bonds

long forgotten
reborn flesh sings
and rejoices
in euphoria

Wet Dream
floating
on the lake
I contemplate
slipping beneath the surface
giving myself to liquid depths
pallid limbs
thrashing
fighting
the pressure of water
ceasing to struggle
surrendering
releasing
swallowing darkness
embracing a lover
sensuous
passionate
hidden desires
suppressed upon waking
from restless sleep
aching
needing
sexual release
exquisite trembling
satiating my hunger
caressing
plummeting
into orgasmic bliss
rising back to the surface
floating
on the lake
I contemplate

Dragon Heart
My Fortress,
Heart and Soul
had never been breached
treachery won
Trojan horse
Hollow and Illusion
brought inside the walls
laid waste
Inner Sanctum
Defiled and Pillaged
shattered diamond shards of self
precious jewels
Dragon Scales
Impenetrable and Encasing
form around my fractured self
strengthening darkness
Ebon depths
Spawned and Deadly
upon your return
retribution waits
Heart and Soul
