Your love was like a cherry blossom tree
started out so beautiful and grew vibrantly.
brought smiles to everyone including me.
seemed to wash away the insanity.
as it danced in the wind to effortlessly.
but as we know, things don't last forever.
the once beautiful tree became old and began to wither...
day bye day, the flowers fell to the ground.
sadness instead of happiness came around...
all that is now left are the broken roots in the ground...
the tree is said to blossom again..
for now I'll have the memories of when the tree first began...

1:51am drowning out of water
my ship was anchored.
so firmly.
not even the captain could cast it out.
then you came along.
with a compass leading to my deepest desires.
taking me to all the places I've never been.
but there was a new voyage calling your name.
you abandoned ship.
leaving me in the middle of the ocean.
no compass....
casted out.
lost.
broken.
drowning in my own chaos.
