Hush
Quiet is needed to search the soul
To sit with myself
Painful in the extreme
Resisting the tyranny of "busy"
On the edge of the unknown
Peering into the abyss
Hush
Some secrets shouldn't be told
The quiet makes them seem like screams
Deafening to the girl
Who doesn't want to hear
Burying discomfort and pain
With rapid replacements
For Him
