I lay awake in bed
Eyes open, thinking
With soft little tears threatening
To break the surface

I'm remembering the time of endless fun
Of endless freedom
The best time of our lives

Last summer when we met
Aboard a ship
With new people and experiences that lay ahead

Those funny little nights playing truth or dare in a hot tub
All those hours we spent, all the way till 12
Getting to know each other more and more with each passing question

All that singing
All that dancing
All that running around not caring who...

Rain is light,
And it is cold,
You go outside, and
Try to grab hold

Rain can be loud,
And it is very wet
But if you’ve got your
Whelly’s your all set

You can also wear a poncho,
Or take a umbrella
Or stay inside and eat a tub
Of Nutella

Later comes the storm,
In all its glory,
With raging winds
That tell a story

There will be thunder, lightening
Rain and hail,
And after the storm hits you’ll
Need a hammer and a nail.

Love is sweet,
Love is pure,
We’ll all find it,
Someday I’m sure

Love is nice,
Love is kind,
It’s when someone is
Always on your mind

Love is honesty,
Love is trust,
But it can start with a little
Flirt and lust

Love is triumph,
Love is discovery,
Makes my heart pound so hard,
I need a recovery.

No-one has a perfect definition..
So we say Love is Love…
And it feels like something from up above.
