He regains his strength as her kiss speaks
She finds his heart and mends his spirit
He’s been hunting all night for her
She feeds him food she’s grown with love
She anoints his wine with blessings above
He finds solace within her embrace
She places a kiss ever delicate on his forehead
He stands so tall, towering over her small frame
He speaks, so deep he adores her name
She looks to his hands, takes them in hers
And they dance with her in his arms

You are my friend when I’m all alone…there is no one there
But over these years all you brought me is pain and despair.
You selfishly pushed away everything I loved so I could be alone with you
But you’ve stolen my innocence and part of my spiritual virtue.
Now you bring me into flashbacks with nefarious whispers in my ear
I sit here grasping for the light- cowering from your shadow in grievous fear.
