So money is everything??
I truly doubt.
Surely,
Money is not everything..
it only "assures"
in reality it's nothing really,
think about it.
By the way,
is it the money that counts...
or is it money's worth?
For if money was real,
couldn't it buy happiness?
Lots for that matter,
couldn't it buy good health?
Lots and lots..
couldn't it buy holiness as well?
Lots and lots and lots.
Money is a trap for the weak..
a weapon for the foolish,
but a servant for the wise.
...
I truly doubt.

FAMILY (PART 1)
We discussed about love,
for a while...
about its beauty and downside.
Somehow,
We developed good rapport.
Soon,
She felt confident enough
and a random question followed...
what does family mean to you?
I was taken aback,
I caught a few under-tones...
but all the same,
I aired my feelings.
I became honest with her,
I opened up.
I said...
For me,
family comes first.
To me,
family means everything.
Literally,
everything.
Family means peace,
and joy...
family means...
for a while...

SELF RIGHTEOUS
I'm a self-righteous man,
Righteous in mine own eyes.
Always pointing fingers
at myself and at others.
Classic miss-goody-two-shoes
unfortunately.
We all are though,
Self-righteous people.
It's easier to talk ill
of others and their shortcomings,
but we ignore our own.
God have mercy on us all,
Help we love each other better.

TYSON
I was yet to witness
a warrior in the ring.
I had never seen
a man so vicious,
till I heard the name Tyson
He had a strong jab,
quick and straight
Always.
His lead was lethal
and his guard steady
Just like a soldier.
I also studied his cross
...unbelievable..
boy, the man could fight!
His punches were fast,
powerful and straight,
thrown with true force.
Though he rarely used the hook,
I liked his fight all-the-same.
One semi‐circular punch
on the opponent's head, ...

FOREWORD
What does poetry mean to you??
For me, poetry is the string of words that run through my veins and flow out my system.....its the epitome of my creativity and mirror of my thoughts....'
so, to me
poetry is simply creativity captured in words,
poetry is what is written, still being wrote, and yet to come...
poetry is the elapsing of thoughts' gestation,
the crystallizing of minds and senses...
poetry is the freedom of thoughts, the infidelity of words,
poetry is everything about...

SHINING WARRIOR
This path I take,
this elaborate path I embrace,
a path sandwiched
with shining jewels and gems.
Should I stop and admire?..
Maybe I should try my luck
picking a souvenir?
That would be brilliant.
However,
I choose to walk straight ahead,
They'll call me lame,
Of course.
I'll just nod and proceed,
As always..
I have to agree,
I'm sure old fashioned!

This thing called poetry...
Too good!
Poetry is the smile in the eyes,
the tears of heart,
the screams in a mind.
... it's all poetry,
and it's beautiful.
Poetry is the clique of fingers
the whistling of lips,
Poetry is musical...
It's the happiness within,

For lovers,
there are some things
that are wicked
and these ...
Should never be ignored.
First,
A liar will always lie,
No matter how much you forgive.
Rule number one,
Never trust a liar
For lies are not for lovers.
Secondly,
a promiscuous woman
avoid by all means.
Run away
and never look back.
Guard your heart,
by all means.
Lest you die of a heartbreak.
Thirdly,
to you and yours
a selfish woman is a curse.
So a test you'll have to perform,
for selfishness is...
