In her subconscious is where she lays
Waiting for the pain to go away
The smell so sweet
Sweet as grass
She wishes her misfortune away

Laid down beside a river
She begins to quiver
For the smell of the earth
Warms her heart
As she wishes the spirits, "Good day"

They tell her to come back to reality
But reality causes her dismay
She tries to find the staircase
But she couldn't find her way

She is lost
Tethered to "unreality"
But is it so bad?
If reality made her that way? ...

They heard the banshee's cry

Stricken with grief

It sounds as though she wants to die

Burying in her pillow so deep


They not know why she wails

Although death may come in suit

They see her white face pale

Then came the stoop


They tried to grasp her

But the disease in her mind held not loose

For she was a ghost trapped in solid

And she could not break through
