In Me, With Me, Not Me
Rest assured, I've never felt more safe.
In a room full of mirrors, an unspeakable place.
Looking beyond the neck, hands, and face, I see something more material;
perhaps an unshakable space.
A space so vast and so beautiful, it can't be me.
I'm only 5 feet tall and 6 inches deep.
It moves so quick, yet is sturdy in its ways; so holy yet so inviting are its shining rays.
Here I am, watching and learning.
Watch.
Learn.
Tremble.
I tremble under this surge of electricity running through my veins.
Am I really touching...

Kingdom
Rejoice!!
The Savior has arrived.
Burning down your kingdom
And your death-filled lies.
Everyone falling around me,
Yet I still stand
With the Armor of Truth
and Shield in my hand.
Holy is the Lord forever-
Forever He will reign.
Giving us a life of freedom.
That's why he was slain.
The world tortured me
And fed me lies.
That's why I'll show them love,
So that everybody dies.
When I was in darkness,
He shot me with light.
I bled the blood of the Lamb
And He gave me new-found sight.

Rise Up
In reality, it's no use-
When you read the Word
but no fruit is produced.
You act like you care
and you say you know it all.
But when it comes time,
your mind is your only downfall.
Spinning downwards into a bottomless pit.
You see the ball but you can't take a hit.
There's a darkness that's blinding you
and it won't let you go!
Lies, hate, and fear are all that you know.
As crazy as it seems,
this is all real.
You think you can hide
But you can only steal.
You rob yourself of your own freedom
and your own...
When you read the Word

Seeking Truth Through Lies
Destined for a life of greed.
It's not what you want,
but it is what you need.
Forever chained to your shameless pride.
Frustration and pain are easy to hide.
Walking straight down a pitiful line.
Spreading the same fucking cynical lie.
Hearts beat faster,
but the love disappears.
I already lost my mind
searching through the years.
They say potential is key,
but where is the truth?
I lost all ambition
in my fucked up youth
It's not what you want,
but it is what you need.
Forever chained to your shameless pride.

Insane
Words written on the walls
Lights flickering in the halls
They say these patients are long done
But I think we're the crazy ones.
Locked away in a cruel state
Trying to escape, this is not their fate
Tied down, restrained, and even abused
Consciousness broken, minds just misused
No time to talk, just take your meds
While you're at it, let me tie you to your bed.
They want to be set free, not confined
But all you say is "SHUT UP! It's all in your mind"
Yeah, it's in their mind, but isn't that where we live?

Don't Go
Emotionally shattered.
I try to breathe it all in.
Bruised and dead,
There's no way that I will win.
Your calming tears
have already faded.
I look up at God
and think, "How will I make it?"
The blade, it goes deeper
As I lose my love.
You don't have the right
To help me rise above.
After all,
Isn't it ME pushing YOU away?
Don't think that I won't hurt you
If you decide to stay.
You can run
But you can't hide.
You can steal
But you can't lie.
Where will screaming get you?

Just a letter
You see, the thing is we're striving for the wrong "perfect".
This altered, twisted, deformed idea of perfect. How can we, as imperfect beings, create a perfect standard of what the world should be if we can't even control our own minds? If we can't even stop ourselves from murdering? If we can't even tell the difference between love and lust. You want hope for the future? What future?! What about now? We're all living in the future, our minds held captive by the past, but our soul hungers for NOW. Our cells are infused with the present. So next time you ask me where I want...

Chemicals and Fires
Demons destroy
but make a beautiful mess.
I begin to see more,
but I start to know less.
Pain keeps me strong
and Drugs keep me sane.
You try walking down
this shame-filled lane.
Yet there's some devil out there
keeping me alive.
The same one
that hopes I'm the last to survive.
I'm trying to find myself,
but there's nothing to find.
Murder, shame, and love
all consume my mind.
The plague has taken its toll,
but it's hungry for more.
Caught in between the lines
of the waves and the shore....
but make a beautiful mess.
I begin to see more,

Everlasting
The guilt of this world doesn't stand a chance.
I'll open up my heart if you ask me to dance.
The sorrow, the pain, and the anguish to come
won't mean a thing. The war's already won.
So what happens when we forget?
We tell lies, break ties, in all honesty, we're a mess.
There's no such thing as broken, only lost.
It's funny because we broke you on the cross.
Now if I think about it, this life is real.
God's not a dead idea, He's that thing you feel
When you're at your lowest of lows or highest of highs
Energy upheld in glorious might. ...
I'll open up my heart if you ask me to dance.

All Together Now
Above the rules,
But subject to laws.
We'll learn to live
When we erase the flaws.
But when it comes to trust,
It's never enough.
When did pure warm love
Turn into dead cold lust?
Wronged by the things
That should be right.
Restless in a house
With blood and fights.
As swift as a fox,
And dirty as a hound.
Don't you know?
It's war that makes this world go round.
For years, we've been running.
But there is no end.
Only scars, blood, tears,
And broken bones to mend.
Years come and go, ...
But subject to laws.
We'll learn to live

Broken Paradise
Running away from this broken paradise
Holding on to everything I feel is right
Opened up my heart to let you in
Only to be tortured by your pretty sin
Come to me with thoughts of love
I'll show you the way to rise above
Pain- It's such a precious word.
It's the only thing my heart has ever heard
Hold my hand. Walk on by.
Don't let me go, but don't make it right.
Give me some time to escape
This broken paradise.
Feeding off these thoughts of death
Hoping not to feel the threat
Of your lies. That's all that you are....

Crown of Lies
Creatively speaking, I'm a mess.
There's something in your eyes that you won't confess.
Your life is a lie, that makes your death a liar.
I watched this whole city burn down, why the fuck did you set fire?
Running from a ghost, I can taste my own fear.
Jumping off the edge, I'm trying to make it clear
that pain has no mercy, but the Master does.
He watches closely, sending light from above.
My power's quickly fading, my strength is long dead
It's funny 'cause I didn't even wince when you put the bullet to my head.
