Good Night
I've posted this poem on various other websites but it is my material*
Kiss my lips and say goodnight
Tell me everything's alright
But I know what's truth and a lie
So into the darkness where I hide
There's nothing there but hurt and pain
Because my heart has been slain
By the ones I've always loved
So here I lay, in a pool of my blood
The cuts I've made are way too deep
But now
Finally
I can sleep

How do you say goodbye
Without shedding a tear?
How do you ignore their words
Even though you can still hear?
How do you stay away
And not give it a second thought?
How do you take all those pills
Without getting caught?
