My heart lies here
When I sleep I visit you in my dreams
So happy
Memories I make in my head
Feels so safe
When I dream it's better the being awake
In my dreams I'm not alone
In my dreams
I'm every but at home
In my dreams my smile is real
In my dreams
I'm surrounded by friends
That aren't there when I'm awkae
I know every face
Every smile
I know all thier names
But I've never met them
When I dream
I'm everywhere but home
When I close my eyes
You never left
When I let go of the wake
I'm not broken ...

I'm just a game
Soft skin
Delicate and smooth
Can you tell I've been used?
No you're interested in my skin
You say otherwise with a grin
You feel no sham
I'm just a game
Soft lips
Almost seductive
I've heard every line it's redundant
I roll my eyes
But you can't tell
As you undress me behind your lies
Sometimes there is no lie
As you objectify me
Sometimes you work a little harder
So you can get harder
I'm just a game
You'll never feel shame
And you'll never be the blame.
Delicate and smooth
Can you tell I've been used?
No you're interested in my skin
You say otherwise with a grin
You feel no sham
I'm just a game

I wouldn't be me if I hadn't been you
You scared me
Turned me into a monster
You haunted me
Made me make every wrong choice
Made me lose my true voice
You were my darkest days
I regret every second
Which I could take back all the hurt
I can't though
Now I stand strong
I do my best to do no wrong
I stand tall
You can't make me fall
I stare out at the road ahead
And I think
Who I could have been instead
If I hadn't made every wrong choice
Hadn't lost my voice
If I hadn't seen my darest days
If I hadn't been you
I may not...

Promises You Can't Keep
Each time I fool myself
With this sad sense of positivity
Like false words
No it was false words
Always false words
False promises that I tried to hold onto
That I tried to grasp
Hanging on to it like a life line
If I let go I would plumit down
But the ledge I cling to keeps wanting to crumble
Those sweet words
Oh those sweet nothings
I fell
Because I just couldn't hold on
I fell

Brick Wall
I'm shattered on the inside
Pulled together on the out
So scared I can't shout
So brave it's reckless
The cracks leave me breathless
I am a sheet of glass
Painted to look like a brick wall
So fragile
Oh you thought I was strong
If only you weren't wrong
I'm so broken
It's a wonder I still work
I'm a brick wall disguise
Isn't it such a surprise

Don't worry I too thought I stood tall
Sheet of glass
Can you see the cracks?
No because you only see the ruse
I could give you any...

IN The Depths
Sinking slowly
Drowning cruelty
Slipping further into the depths
Darker then raven
Collapsed in the cave in
Stealing air
Love, the weight you bare
Now it drowns you
Sufficating
Deafening
Sinking into the depths
Lwaving behind the sense you had left
Sweet lies
Empty sighs
Sinking
Blinking
Trying to see the surface
Stealing air
Grasping
For that dying flare

Does it hurt?
That shattered half of you
Once a bright yellow
Now the saddest shade of blue
Dreams that once took you high
Bury you further from the sky

To much for even me.
Am i what you want?
Am I ever what you need?
Unwanted
Am I your Burden?
Am I your crutch?
Some days even for me
I think I'm to much.
They can't help me
And they can't see I can't help myself.
I beg
I plead
But I'm never what they need.

Look at her she's so tragic
The truth starts
At first
Feeling like static
Then an electronic shock
Leaving the burns

Months go by you're still a lie
Didn't even get a goodbye
Is he worth it?
Is he a perfect fit?
Is the Texas heat burning you alive?
You're living his lie
